Mongolia has a rich history of nomadic living. It is only in the past 100 years that the people of Mongolia have transitioned to a sedentary lifestyle. That transition from herder to urban mentality has been a rough road and a Mongolian organization, GerHub, has been doing amazing work to identify the issues and take them on--they recently teamed up with Soho Impact to organize events that foster community in the Ger (Mongolian yurt) Districts of Ulaanbaatar.
